-BRAINWAVE!! Look if the Z Sword was droven into rock, if the rock is destoryed then it will loosen its grip on the Zed Sword. Thus all Son Gohan needed to do was place his feet firmly in the ground which he did, and pull upwards.

Yes the Supreme Kai underestimated a lot of people but I don't think he has any problems with sensing Ki
If the rock could be destroyed as easily as that then why would pulling out the sword be considered so great?????
