These are the Stats of everyone brought into question. As explained, Kimimaro has higher Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Knowledge, Speed, and Stamina than Zabuza. Compared to Gaara, Kimimaro has higher Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Strength, and Speed. They are equal in Knowledge. Keep in mind, this is Base Kimimaro. Now, lets compare Zabuza to Gaara. Zabuza has higher Taijutsu, Speed, and Strength. They are equal in Ninjutsu, Knowledge, and Seals. That means the only advantage Gaara has is Knowledge and Stamina. Now, why are Kakashi's Stats in this? Because, Speed-wise, Kimimaro > Kakashi = Zabuza. Zabuza caught Kakashi because Kakashi was distracted. So tell me, what are the chances of Zabuza catching someone who has a Speed advantage and is not distracted in a Water Prison? Also tell me how Gaara > Zabuza when they are near equal, with Zabuza having the advantage.

For the sake of it, lets compare Kimimaro & Kakashi (Databook I). Kimimaro has the advantage in Taijutsu, Speed, and Stamina. Kakashi has the advantage in Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Knowledge, Strength, and Seals. Looking at that, Kimimaro's only advantage is the possibility of impaling Kakashi with Taijutsu before he releases Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. Even then, there's Sharingan to worry about. So, I don't see Kimimaro defeating Kakashi. However, he might, and only maybe in CS2, if he uses Dance of Seedling Fern. That's only if he can pull it off and Kakashi is too weak to not be impaled by a forest of bones.

In the end, this is what I believe.

Kakashi (Databook II) > Kakashi (Databook I) > Kimimaro > Zabuza > Gaara (Databook II) > Gaara (Databook I)
