Lol, as burningvegeta mentioned, it isn't really a rule, just a courtesy thing. You're better off showing the requesting member what you have to offer, as this gives him/her more options to choose from. The last thing we want are request threads filled with posts by genuine people coercing the other to post their entry first.

So, in the future, just do it to it, and remember that this isn't an area for competition. :P
