So yeah, I woke up today and I decided that that story was too good to pass up. Even though I had believed I had given up on it... new ideas for new subplots keep coming to my head at the most random of times, not to mention that I already have the main storyline planned out in my head. To cut this short... I'm going to continue writing the MFG Chronicles, (hopefully) starting from this week. Since it's been a while, I'm going to provide a summary up to this point for those that haven't read it or want to refresh it so that they don't have to read the whole thing through (even though I suggest that).

For those of you who have no idea what the heck I'm talking about... Imagine MFG Chronicles as taking MFG and putting it into a comical medieval setting, with members as characters in the story. The main story follows the footsteps of Nikushimi who strives to overwhelm his multiple enemies while acquiring ultimate power, but a lot of other subplots intervene with it, eventually including the majority of MFG members.

However, since I haven't touched the story in a while, I need to write something to get my fingers running again, something short, but keeping to that style, to get me back on track. And because he's the main character in Chronicles, as well as a surprisingly easy character to write about, the usual suspect is Nikushimi. I'm going to write a short stand-alone story that takes place before the Chronicles and narrates how Nikushimi rose to power. Of course, it can't be... just Nikushimi, so there are going to be a lot of you in the story as well.

Well, a couple of months back, MFG Chronicles was perhaps the most active thread on the forums. Let's see if I can get it back up and running.
