Maybe you don't listen to Against Me! as vividly as you're letting on, because a vast majority of their songs on their new album talk about their refusal to sign creative control over to their new label, but then again, they're probably just sell outs because you say so. Linkin Park, on the other hand, went from singing about emotional situations, public problems, more emotional situations, and the like, to basically just coming up with a phrase that sounds deep, and repeating four or five times a verse. Throwing in a catchy beat, and calling it a song.
