Let me just bury this argument real quick, k? Because it's getting tiring.

Amaterasu was stated to burn everything Itachi's eyes fall on to cinders. Susano'o was stated to deflect everything that is used against it instantly. Both Susano'o and Amaterasu fall under the category of "everything". So, if there was another person with Itachi's abilities and he used Amaterasu against an Itachi who was using Susano'o, then Amaterasu should reduce Susano'o to ashes, since Susano'o is a part of "everything". However, Susano'o should also deflect Amaterasu unharmed, since Amaterasu is also part of "everything". Whoops, hole.

As you see, such statements don't even apply to the same series as a whole, let alone different series.
