I agree with you about Kenpachi. Makes alot of sense that he is becoming so strong(unless there was a hell lot of secret training during all of this).
I suppose Renji could win. I mean, it's not like he is fighting a person on Byakuya's level(or intelligence).

If you are saying about figure, there is no way you could tell with the original picture; her head wasn't fitting the veil anyways.
