Ruffled dust clouded the surrounding area as the silhouette of a sewn-up being was shot backwards after a poor attempt to parry so many needles. The sudden snap of Kakuzu’s back against a tree trunk could be heard as well. It took a few minutes for one to understand what just happened. With limited vision, one could barely see his shadow slumped against the busted bark of a once mighty oak. However, as the smoke cleared, it became visible that Kakuzu wasn’t in pain. Instead, his flesh was dyed a rock-shaded brown. Although his uniform was completely tattered, he appeared unharmed - A Doton Jutsu. His slump wasn’t from pain either. Instead, with a single hand, he flipped through signs.

"Doryuu Taigai!" the hateful voice of the immortal screamed.

At his feet came the outward flow of mud - running similar to the rapids of a powerful river.
