Only if somehow, by some cosmic forge or something similar,

Would Goku be able to take it.

An inner voice tells him that if he would acheive inner peace even when it was hopeless, causing a flash to happen. The flash alters his DNA for him to be able to sustain the form properly. BAM, Super Saiyan 5.

But this is AF we're talking about, so BAM, no Super Saiyan 5.
