Default Re: do you think goku can take the power of going super saiyan 5

Guys, I'll ask you to stay on topic. John, don't double-triple or even quadruple post for nothing, there is an edition button. Please, John, stop using capital letters for nothing, and last but not least, stop being agressive toward each other, this a discussion you don't have to be that agressive. Thanks.

I disagree. There shouldn't be a new Dragon Ball series. Simply because SSJ5, or SSJ6 will be something repetitive and unoriginal. Everyone hopes for that because DB has become so predictable. GT had it's good points but mostly, I think the show was a failure. There was way too much plot holes, all the screen time was given to Goku, the story wasn't connected from the beginning to the end, all the saiyans became weaklings aside from Goku and by a miracle, SSJ2 Vegeta(He didn't even appear in GT) who was much weaker than base kid Goku, managed to be almost as strong as him when both were SSJ4. GT was just an attempt to make money, it wasn't made to please fans at all, they didn't give us what we wanted, they just did a show that completely lacked originality and new material. It was a downgraded version of DBZ. I know there are still fans out there who love GT and I respect their choices, but I hope they respect my choices too, I just can't stand GT. Don't call those who hate it fake fans because I'm far from being a fake fan. It wasn't even made by Mr Toryama in the first place, I only love what was made by the true author of DB/Z. To point out flaws from DB/Z or even GT isn't being a fake fan because these series have tons of flaws, they aren't perfect, no series are perfect. That's the difference between a fan and a fanboy, a fan aknowledge the flaws and make a good analysis of his favored series, he doesn't think it is perfect, he knew what could have been better and what could have been worse. The fanboy on the other hand doesn't accept any critisme, he simply ignores what everyone says and think what he likes is just perfect and flawless even if it's obviously not flawless, he won't aknowledge it and he'll just turn a blind eye onto everything said and showed. Calling Burningvegeta a fanboy or a fake fan is completely wrong because he isn't, he is a true fan, and just because he dislikes GT doesn't make him a fake fan. I don't even think he considers GT a true part of Dragon Ball because it wasn't made by Akira Toriyama and it's full of plot holes. If he didn't like DB and DBZ there you could call him a fake fan since, well he doesn't like anything done from the original author. I hated GT, I loved the SSJ4 and SSJ4 Gogeta, it doesn't make me a fake fan, as it doesn't make Burningvegeta a fake fan, he is a true fan, just like me you and tons of people on the DB/Z/GT/Movies section.

Just because Bulma stated Vegeta could have went SSJ5 doesn't mean he could have. SSJ5 doesn't even exist in the first place, so any reference to it is completely irrevealent. Considering Vegeta hasn't even the power to go SSJ3, the fact that he can become SSJ5 is just impossible. Judging by the power of the SSJ4, it seems a saiyan can't go higher than that, it was the highest form shown, thus the highest form to ever exist. Bulma doesn't know anything about saiyans, even Vegeta's knowledge is limited, he didn't even know there was such thing as SSJ3 Bulma just speculate SSJ5 because obviously, she wanted her husband to think that one day he might be able to surpass Goku. Since SSJ4 is like an hybrid of SSJ and Oozaru and it takes a lot of power to control, even Goku had a hard time controlling it since it took Pan to help him stay himself. SSJ5 would be an hybrid between SSJ2 and Oozaru judging by Toei's logic, the SSJ2 puts a strain on the body, Vegeta had to use Babidi's magic in order to achieve SSJ2 because he wasn't strong enough. He never naturally surpassed the level of SSJ2, if he were to go SSJ5, he could never ever control its power. Since SSJ5 never appeard, it's rather logical to make it like the SSJ4 but simply more powerful. I'll say it again, Vegeta can never ever think to reach SSJ5 even if it existed.
