Dunno. But considering that they're actually cyborgs, I'd say that they probably don't live forever. However 18 could have still been alive at the end of GT.

I was actually just thinking about this. This has been bugging me so I'm glad you brought it up. Since Trunks stated that they have an infinite energy source, it would lead one to think, "yes". While making the spirit bomb for Buu, I'm sure we can all agree that even if 18 gave energy for and hour, it still probably wouldn't have been able of finishing Buu, which explains why 18, if she did give energy continuously, wasn't able to provide Goku with enough.
