You're referencing Release - the move used to repel weak Genjutsu during the Konoha Invasion Arc. It is basically an outward flow of chakra. Any DB/Z/GT character doing so is also an unproven assumption. You cannot compare Chakra & Ki, as they are completely different and function differently. For example, Ki seems to be more solid, able to be caught & countered, while raw Chakra is nothing but energy - which is effectively used to create moves. Ki is less focused, while Chakra can be bent into elements, shapes, etc.

Point being, Ki is more destructive, while Chakra is more flexible.


Comparing the two is impossible, therefore nullifying your point.
