dude if you want to watch an adult/nonchildish anime watch death note, or bleach, or even Yu Yu Hakasho.
DBZ and Naruto are mostly intended for childern.
Naruto is better with emotion and such.
Where as DBZ has very little other than you killed people so now I kill you.
It is TV-14 too.
Akira is not a serious dude from what I have seen, esp. Dragonball.
