Goku and Trunks can read power levels. Rildo said he knew Goku was that strong when he turned SSJ. Goku was impressed by Meta Rildo not suprised, it's different. If you're suprised it means you didn't expect something to happen, if you're impressed it just means you expected something to happen, but the something was just bigger than what you actually thought. It's the same for Goku and Rildo, Goku was playing, he turned SSJ, Rildo wasn't suprised, he said he knew Goku was as strong as that, then Rildo transformed, Goku just said he had amazing power, meaning Rildo met his expectations. He wasn't like: Oh my God! I didn't know he was that strong. Fact is, Goku didn't even comment on Rildo's strength, he just said something on it when they were about to fight. Goku is not the type to judge someone just on his base power, he obviously knew Rildo's maximum or at least something close to Rildo's maximum. As I stated 1000 times, why would he be impressed by someone he could easily beat at base power? Just the way Goku was fighting at base, he was always smiling, he expected something to happen, since Rildo didn't do nothing he went SSJ. If he didn't know Rildo's maximum strength, why would he go SSJ? It would be an enormous overkill. If he knew he could have beaten a Rildo he thought he knew as strong as his base form, then he would have stayed in base, he wouldn't have turned SSJ. All that to say once again, Goku knew Rildo's maximum power or he knew Rildo was powerful enough for him to go SSJ.
