Yes, they knew each others power, but the point I'm trying to make is that Goku and Trunks' statements were made on referance from Rilldo [base], not Rilldo Sigma, or Meta. Goku may have known that Rilldo was stronger than he looked, and Rilldo may have known Goku could become stronger, but I think Goku was simply stating Rilldo's current power, his absolute base. It was only after Rilldo went Sigma, that he was stated to have become stronger than before. That means Rilldo [base; time of statement] =/< Chibi Buu </= Kid Goku [base] < Sigma Rilldo < SSj Kid Goku < Meta Rilldo.
