In terms of Gotenks, this is how I would put it. SSJ Gotenks is stronger than Majin Buu because originally, SSJ3 Goku never thought they would even reach SSJ3. He knew they couldn't win normally, but they could win at SSJ level. SSJ Gotenks got his ass kicked by Super Buu, so maybe Gotenks is stronger than SSJ3 Goku. But in terms of anime and non-cannon DBZ which is what I like: SSJ3 Goku(Alive, Earth) > SSJ3 Gotenks
