I said he was exagerating only when he said Gotenks was stronger than him. The situation was bad, so exageration was completely justfied. Why would Goku say someone weaker than him would come and fight Buu, he knows that Buu is impatient so he had to do to something to keep in excited. It's like when he said to Shin Buu that they would have to kill him in order to get out, he was exagerating his power, he was even lying since he had too, maybe it was the same for Gotenks. Why would Fat Buu wait if someone weaker than Goku would come to fight him, we all know Buu, he just wants to fight the strongest. When Goku was about to face Chibi Buu, he didn't say maybe I could have taken out Fat Buu, he didn't hesitate nor showed any signs of doubt. The way he was talking, he could obviously have killed Fat Buu quite easily. Like I stated earlier, that's the case if we give Goku the biggest advantage possible, it would be pointless to put him against an ennemy 4x stronger than he is, but if we make that ennemy 2x stronger, than all hope is not lost. If we so agree Goku is 4x weaker than Shin Buu because we obviously know everything about the multipliers, than this topic shouldn't be even open. It's like being stupid enough to put Cell against SSJ3 Goku. Maybe Goku wasn't even in Buu's power range, maybe he was 1,5x-2x stronger than him, that would make a drastic difference.
