Q: Does vB do anything special with Skype?
A: Yes. You can enter a Skype ID in your profile. Unlike with the other IM services, vB will determine whether you are currently online with Skype, and change the icon that's displayed near the reputation icon in your posts, in your profile and on the Who's Online page to reflect your online status (a checkmark if you're online). As with the other types of messaging, clicking on the icon will bring up a small window that makes it easy to interact using Skype, although you need to have Skype installed in order for that part to work.
