^As you can see, Goku states in Buu's body that Super Buu is stronger than him or Vegeta, and that he will kill both of them if they attempt to battle Buu. Now the quotes below take place after Super Buu has formed himself within his body, and is confronting Vegeta and Goku. Note that the two Saiyans have a fearful expression on their face, and that they are sweating:
Vegeta: Now this looks like...it could be trouble...!
Goku: I TOLD you to keep the Potara on! This would've been easy if we could combine!
Super Buu: So...you can't combine anymore...
Goku: RK?!
Vegeta: Idiot!!! You couldn't keep your mouth shut!
Super Buu: That's nice.
Goku and Vegeta: Uh...! (transform into Super Saiyans; note that this DOES NOT mean that SSJ Goku/Vegeta > Super Buu, it just means that the two saiyans are transforming as a precaution, as ssj is their most battle-ready form that doesnt waste energy.)
^The next few panels show Goku and Vegeta attempting to avoid fighting Super Buu by all means necessary. Goku bluffs by looking confident (although on the inside he's essentially crapping his pants), and threatens to "blow a hole" in Buu's body (which doesnt work). Vegeta then threatens to rip out Fat Buu (which does work in making Super Buu afraid.) Later on, when Kid Buu appears on the Supreme Kai planet, Goku and Vegeta seem more eager to fight Kid Buu, even playing rock-paper-scissors to see who fights him first. Compare this to before, when they didnt try fighting him at all. Oh yeah, and Goku does say a little something about Fat Buu, as well:
Goku: You know, I actually could've beaten Fat Buu with super saiyan 3 when I first met him, but I wanted the new generation to make sure they could take care of themselves...
^So, at least in this translation, ssj3 Goku > Fat Buu.
During the Kid Buu fight, when ssj3 Goku begins to get tired, Vegeta offers to swich places in fighting for awhile so that Goku can build his chi. According to Vegeta...
Vegeta: Build up your chi with super saiyan 3, and you should be able to obliterate him!
^So it's stated that ssj3 Goku (full power) >>> Kid Buu.
