5: Goku doesn't go SSJ at will in Movie 5, he does so after seeing the Earth about to die by the hands of Cooler.

6: No if I recall correctly Dende was Guardian of the Earth a bit prior to the hyperbolic time chamber training, but I could be wrong about that. Anyways there is no proof on whether Dende was the Guardian of the Earth or not in the movie, because he could so easily have been communicating telepathicly with Goku.

9: Trunk's hair was long in the Cell Games and short when he came back to his own time/ universe. So either having short or long hair fits in there, besides appearance is nothing more that franchise marketting. "What looks good to the people"
