Top 5 Racers who have the best chance to win.

1. Jeff Gordon- I hate to say it, but if I had to bet against someone, it wouldn't be Gordon. He's done it all at Daytona, winning 3 Daytona 500's. He knows how to win them, and he has a pretty good shot at winning this year.

2. Dale Earnhardt Jr- This is a guy who won 5 straight races at Talladega Superspeedway, a track much like Daytona. He is also last year's champion. Look for number 8 to possibly be #1 this Sunday at Daytona.

3. Jimmie Johnson- He was one of the most consitent drivers in 2004, and he started out 2005 with a pop. Winning the Bud Shootout, Johnson looks like he's going to put together another fine year. But can he win at Daytona? We'll see.

4. Michael Waltrip- Another strong DEI car at restrictor plate races. He is a champion of the Daytona 500 in 2001 and 2003. Brother of 3 time Winston Cup Champion Darrel Waltrip, Michael struggles a lot outside of the super-tracks. But at the supertracks, there are few better.

5. Tony Stewart- Winston Cup champion in 2002. Stewart put together one of the best rookie seasons ever, winning 3 races and posting 11 top 5 finishes in 1998. All this aside, Stewart has never won a restrictor plate race. He has finished second numerous times, including last year, but will this be Tony's year?

Wild cards- Elliot Sadler, Dale Jarret and Kevin Harvick

Am I good or what? I predicted Jeff Gordon to win and he did. Although I am unhappy that Tony Stewart didn't win.
