Ok it's not candy but it's sweet and it's fascinating. Ramune is a very popular drink in Japan like lemonade, but not quite. Though what's particularly interesting about this product is the bottle and how you open it. Instead of a bottle cap this fizzy drink is sealed with a glass marble stuck inside the bottle. The pressure of fizzy drink keeps the marble in place until you want a drink. Then you remove the special opening device which comes with the bottle and use it to push the marble out of the way inside the bottle. There are the two little glass bobbles inside which then hold the marble out of the way while you drink your Ramune. Utterly confused? Then you'll have to see for yourself. The bottle makes a great talking piece after you drunk the drink. |
