Now Budokai 3 rocks, so don't bash it. The fighting system rocks, and if you like DBZ, this game is what you've been dreaming of. Especially if your a fan of Cooler or Broly.

As for B2 coming to Gamecube, I don't really think anyone who has Gamecube gives a crap. If you bought a Gamecube, chances are that you intended to spend the rest of your life playing Mario games (which are starting to get lamer and lamer). With Gamecube having the worst graphics among the 3 major game systems, I predict that it'll die out soon and Nintendo will tank in and belly up. I give it a year at most. |
Ok, Budokai 3 is still quite bad. Fans may enjoy it, but it is a poor fighter that non-fans will have no interest in, and for good reason. B3 is basically just B2 with cheap teleports that pretty much replace blocking, and that horrid Dragon Rush that is so easy to do and does so much damage, that it can easily replace the rest of the fighting. Just do a couple Dragon Rushes and you win. It's so stupid how it takes no skill, it's just a dumb guessing game. The controls themselves are also terribly slow and unresponsive. When will people open their eyes and stop accepting this trash with a DBZ label on it? As long as people keep buying into it all, crappy developers like dimps will continue to churn out garbage and make millions off of it. And if you don't take my word for it then read this review from someone who gets paid to play games and review them. This person is also a DBZ fan as well, but fortunetely like myself, he has not become jaded as a result.

I'd also like to address the fact that you said Gamecube has the worst graphics of the three major consoles. This is not true, and you'd do well to learn that now. PS2 is the least powerful of the systems, and that's a fact. You think all Gamecube has to offer is Mario? First off, some of the Mario GC games are excellent(i.e. Super Mario Sunshine) and the Gamecube has a plethora of amazing Nintendo only franchises such as Zelda and Metroid and the soon to arive Resident Evil 4. Not to mention the fact that Viewtiful Joe used to be a GC exclusive game, and an amazing game it is.
Also, you say that you "predict" that Nintendo will "belly up". What you don't seem to realize is that even without the GC at all, Nintendo would be doing perfectly fine. Nintendo has brought in unheard of sales with the Gameboy Advanced and Gameboy Advanced SP. Now, with the release of the DS, Nintendo is rounding the 1,000,000th sale of the handheld in the short amount of time it has been on the market. The truth is, you have absolutely no knowledge to base your "predictions" on.
