Chapter 1: Expectations:Part I
'damn' thought Weye as he furrowed his eyebrows in frustration. The young determined child had been trying to land a blow on his comanion all day but has been utterly unsuccessful.
"Man this is boring" complained young Goshi as he phased yet again out of Weye's slow basic attack.
It was a wonderful sunny day and the two had been trying to spar in a clearing beyond West city.
Weye tried once again to nail a blow on his companion but the saiya-jin phased behind him and elbowed him softly on his back tripping him. "When does Jyron get here?" Goshi thought out loud.
Weye decided to go for a different tactic as he stood up rubbing his head. "Hey Goshi look its your dad." said Weye deviously , pointing at the sky.
The plan worked and Goshi turned looked high up. 'Now's my chance' thought Weye happily as he launched a great kick to the side of Goshi.
To Weye's awe and amazement Goshi didn't budge and the next action infuriated Weye deeply.
"Hey Weye, my dad ain't there." said Goshi turning around innocently.
"Wha-Wha?" stuttered Weye , apparently still in shock of the lack of effect his attack took on Goshi.
"Hey Weye what's wrong?" asked Goshi raising an eyebrow.
"H-How did you do that?" stammered Weye with his small mouth wide open.
"Do what?" replied Goshi in confusion.
"Block my attack."
"huh? What attack?" Goshi replied assuming that this was some prank of Weye's.
"Didn't you feel the kick I fired to your side?" Weye questioned and to his deep horror Goshi shrugged stupidly.
Goshi looked at Weye's shocked face and chuckled a little.
Suddenly out of the bushes leaped another slightly larger boy and planted himself on
Goshi. The two exchanged sonic blows and warmed up whilst young Weye moped away in sadness of his failure.
Weye staggered his weight on to a shady tree and knelt down, his back against it. He sighed in depression and let his tears fall out. His heart had been shattered once moreo as failure consumed his sensitive soul.
The 5-year old fiddled with his spiky hair as he thought and remembered all those times he had been rejected and outclassed by the two saiya-jin fighters.
"pft dumb monkeys." mumbled Weye angrily as another tear slid down his cheek.
The sad child shifted his thoughts elsewhere as he forsaw his upcoming training session with his foster father.
"I hope daddy teaches me some new tricks, then I'll show those dumb hamsters." said Weye , encouraging himself.
The content child rubbed his eyes for one final time as he smiled and went to rejoin his play mates.
Weye entered through the bushes in which Jyron first came through. he settled down there and watched his companions' white auras flared up as they sweat themselves a river.
The fight had apparently gotten serious now and the two boys were eyeing each other carefully.
Jyron hopped up into the air with great agility and soared down like a hawk but alas he crashed as Goshi phased above him.
The two wasted no time and charged at each other with ultimate force as they exchanged heavy blows.
Their small knuckles emitted large sonic waves that threw a cracking sound.
The spar went on for 15 minutes but in the end Jyron remained victor.
The two sat down their little bodies heavy with tire, but they were content and happy.
Weye strolled over and joined them. The two were covered in sweat and they breathed heavy to gather oxygen in their thirsty lungs.
"Hey Weye....where'd ya go?" asked Jyron who had missed his young friend's presence.
"Oh....nowhere." replied Weye innocently.
"You should've seen the way I sent Jyron into a tree. Its a shame you wandered off Weye, you would've laughed so hard. He had twigs stuck in his ears and his eyes went wierd. I laughed so hard I almost wet my shortsies." said Goshi smirking with glee as Jyron glared at him.
Weye smiled and chuckled at the thought of the six-year old with twigs in his ears.
"Its a shame I missed it." chuckled Weye as he smirked at Jyron.
It was a serene scene, The three small children argumenting and conversing with each other. They talked a great deal and laughed a lot too.
Jyron discussed with authority as his black hair flickered on and on. It was facing downwards like his father's but there were large spikes at the ends.
Goshi teased his companions a lot as he ruffled his spiky stiff hair. His hair resembled Weye's in a way but Weye's spikes strangely pointed backwards whilst Goshi's pointed forwards. Another difference was that Goshi's spikes were far larger than Weye's, even though the inconfident human's spikes were large as well.
They resembled each other and liked each other. They were like brothers more than best friends. They shared everything together and quarreled as well.
The three would soon meet fates that they never expected but for now their innocence and joy lives on as they make their way up like all great warriors do.....
