Default Re: The 3 Legendary Fools (Must Be Awesome To Enter)

Engel, back when you cleared those up, only Jack Daniels was right from
my guesses... Johnnie Walker, whereas "Johnnie" did sound familiar, I
couldn't link it with the booze. Which I am sort of familiar with.
How was my Midsummer? Fine, fine. The same old "C'mon, have a taste" bottle of beer and cider, bbq food, sauna and such other Finnish Midsummer traditions. Though, there was something quite different today.
At about 3 PM, there was an ambulance and two fire trucks going down the road near our cottage, one after another. One of the fire trucks had a boat in tow, so there was probably some sort of accident in an island nearby. Not long after the "rush hour" had gone by, a medical helicopter landed on our field next to the cottage. Not something that happens every day.
The chopper crew waited for some time, we thought they were lost, since they were looking carefully at their maps and making some calls, or just waiting for the patient(s), but instead, they were waiting for the doctor(s) that had gone to the scene in an ambulance, since no one was really carried or otherwise helped into the chopper. They just carried some medical kits or such, a few guys got in to the helicopter, and then they took off. My dad insisted on taking some photos of them taking off, so now we actually have pics.
Hm, I guess that sums up my Midsummer quite well.
