I had a great weekend.. i went to DOWNLOAD!!! YAY!

didn't see insanity there.. mind u there were around 75,000 folks there. the first day we saw MCR *cringe*, Dragonforce, Megadeath, Velvet Revolver, and Zico Chain. Second day we saw .. uhh.. Machine Head, Motley Crue, Slayer, Marylin Manson, Bowling For Soup, 30 Seconds To Mars, Aiden, and LINKIN PARK <3 and yesterday we saw Lamb Of God, Stone Sour, we heard papa roach from the car park, mastadon, killswitch engage, Evanessance (bit boring) Billy Talent <-- FRIGGIN AWESOME!! Iron Maiden and Reel Big Fish.



For marylin Manson we were really close, we were in the mosh pit, about two people from the front.. he was like 20 meters away from me and he is a fookin great showman... put on a really great performance, and actually said something along the lines of "RAWR... rawr.. DOWNLOAD .. rawr.." which i found quite surprising, i didn't think he would talk to us at all. but the tosser had all his merchandise removed as soon as his set finished... arrogant twat.. but we still love the lil psycho anyway. I was also really upset, cos i wanted to see dragonforce, as I find their music fantastically hilarious as it all sounds the same. But i love it anyway, friggin great band, but we missed most of their set cos my friend (who has pissed me off to the extreme over the last 4 days) wanted to go have a nap in the tent. Luckily I heard their music from the campsite and we legged it over to the arena (it would have been much simpler if we had bought a programme). We only caught the last few songs.



but the next day when we were watching Motley Crue, i turned around and saw the lead singer a few feet away with his girlfriend, and went and harrassed him. I got his autograph, and as I didn't have a camera, we got a photo on my mate's disposable one. I got her to take two, but later on when I was talking about it, and how i couldn't wait to get my one (the reason i asked for two as that means one each) she was like

"Fuck off those are my pictures!"



I must say i was a little lost for words, as I had driven her to the festival which was around 200 miles, and i thought you selfish fucking bitch. I also let her drag me to see My Chemical Romance, and KORN was playing at the same time, so i missed them for her pants little emo fucking band, and she brought no food or drink so we lived off what I had. She give me some money for food and petrol, but didn't seem to understand what a huge damned effort it was to actualyl DO the driving. And then refused to let me have one of the pictures, despite the fact that it is ME who goes hyper over Dragonforce, not her.

Also, I drove home last night, got back to our area about 2am.. and I of course am shattered by this point. When i dropped her off, i helped her carry her bags into her room. She instantly turned around to see if her triop was still alive (a little dumbass she grew from a bag) and so I was just like.. "Ok, so I'll be off then."

Im just gonna get the negatives off her for that picture, then she can go fuck herself on a vacation out of my life.. well thats how im feeling at the moment.. i'll probably cave in and forgive her knowing me...



BUT other than that it was awesome, it was so great <3 The mosh pit for Billy Talent was insane. We somehow ended up on the edge of a circle pit, so there were many elbows to the face and general pain as people slammed into you... but that was great.. fookin hot tho as they were on a smaller stage which was under a tent canvas, so the sweat was pretty much dripping off the ceiling. nice.
