Shikamaru slowly get up from the ground. Hidan turns around as he revert back to his normal form. Shikamaru slash Hidan's throat with his dagger. Hidan ask Shikamaru how he's still alive. Shikamaru explains that he took some of Kakuzu's blood. When Hidan attack Shikamaru, he really cut himself and Hidan just broke the container of Kakuzu's blood.
Meanwhile, Kakuzu is laying down on the ground bleeding. Ino is about to Kakashi. But Kakashi tells her not now. Two of Kakuzu's mask monsters are about to attack them. Chouji get in front of them and use his Multi-Size jutsu to grow bigger. Chouji's hands glow of chakra and crush the two mask monsters with his Mega Palm Thrust jutsu. Threads of strings starts coming out of Kakuzu's entire body. Hidan tells Shikamaru after seeing his Shadow Imitation jutsu many times, he realize that Shikamaru can't hold the jutsu that long since he's almost out of chakra. Kakuzu fuse with his two mask monsters and grabs Kakashi, Ino and Chouji with his strings. Kakuzu is about to deliver the final blow.
All of a sudden, we see Naruto's hand holding his wind Rasengan and Yamato's hand holding an Suiton: Rapid Crasher. They combine their jutsus to create an Drowning Maelstrom jutsu to hit Kakuzu. The smoke clears up and Naruto, Yamato, Sakura and Sai stay in front of Kakashi, Ino and Chouji. Naruto says he hopes that they're not too late.
