I'm looking forward to Ross' retirement. Decades of "BAH GAWD!!!" and putting over weak-assed moves like someone's close to dying have worn me out. I'm about tired of it.

Just like the wrestlers, the announcers have a lifespan, too. After a certain number of years, it's just the same old shit, and people start tuning out.
