Actually, that isn't the reason why Buff Boo lost power, but why he became more tamable for Bibbidi to control.
Good Boo is a completely different story, as he is a Boo, while the Great Lord of Lords was not. I still have no idea what you're getting at.
Aku Boo split from Majin Boo, absorbing him, thus making Majin Boo, Shin Boo, only consist of pure rage, more suited for battling, as he does not need to become angry to access his power as his form consists of only pure rage.
