Well your post contains a good point, however he Goku wasn't falling because of his own fatigue he was knocked back by the Explosion in Broly's body it's also apparent that Goku found the time to get Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo, Gohan & everyone else into the Capsule Corp. ship so I believe Goku was quite a margin better than Broly but your right that Goku didn't just throw any old punch, but I suppose the ending was complete Shit in the end but you had a good idea though.
