You see, the Potarra fusion doesn't have any Super Saiyan transformation. Only the Fusion Dance does. Despite Gogeta's 30 minute dead line, that is all the time he needs to finish off Vegito. Vegito's highest fusion is Super Vegito and Gogeta's is Gogeta Super Saiyan 4. Super Vegeto's power level isn't even a fraction of Gogeta Super Saiyan 4's power level!

Janemba and SSJ4 don't count so :P
1.) Not getting into this fight but yah it was.
2.)SSJ4 did not exist yet. Also remeber Vegito is permanent, he is also a completely new being not a fusion of two. Therefore, when he goes SSJ all the rules apply to a Saiyajin. What I mean is he would have had to experience extreme emotion to go SSJ, but he was able to go SSJ by just forcing his extreme power.
Vegito's SSJ is stronger than SSJ3 Goku.
Vegito would have to actually train to reach SSJ2 form since he's never gone it before and technically shouldn't be able to go SSJ2 since he would need to train/master his SSJ form first.
3.)Uhhh, yah it can, the Potara fuses any two beings regardless of power or anything else.
*Remember the hypothetical Goku + Dende or Goku + Hercule?
4.)No....Super 17 can wipe the floor with Super Janemba and I was just naming a random GT villan. From DBZ I bet Super Buu was much stronger than Super Janemba
